Landscape Maintenance Districts (LMD) 2 and 3 are in a deficit and/or in a position where reserves are lacking. Because the assessment rates in the neighborhoods have been outpaced by costs and the Landscape Maintenance District has a low fund balance, maintenance improvement projects can no longer take place in the neighborhoods.

In September 2023, property owners will be mailed a ballot to consider adjusting the assessment rates to realign revenues with basic expenses to fund future maintenance and improvement projects in the neighborhoods. The public hearing for the ballot measure is scheduled on November 15, 2023.
