Background
All dogs must be vaccinated against rabies and licensed with the City of Norco. The dog licensing program insures rabies control and is mandated by the State of California and City of Norco Municipal Code.
Requirements
A current rabies vaccination certificate must be submitted at the time that you purchase a dog license. There is a reduced price if you submit proof the dog is spayed or neutered. You may buy a multiple year license, depending on the rabies vaccination expiration date. The rabies vaccination must be valid through the full license period.
Purchase
Residents must submit a Dog License Application to be eligible for a license. Dog licenses purchased in another city will be honored in the City of Norco for 30 days. The metal tag issued at the initial purchase is your pet's permanent license tag. Your pet keeps this tag year after year.
