A new inclusive playground is coming soon to Pikes Peak Park!

 

Central to the design are iconic and inclusive structures that will be strategically placed to stimulate creativity and imaginative play among children of varying ages and abilities. To complement Norco’s rural lifestyle, the new playground will feature agriculture-themed play areas, including a red barn, tractor, cottage playhouse, corn maze and orchard apple climber. The new playground will also feature enhanced recreational elements, including a zipline, shaded swings, and safe surface materials, to further enrich the playground experience and ensure accessibility for children of diverse needs.

This park improvement project is funded by Measure R and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). Anticipated completion of the playground replacement is December 2024.
